How To Save Gmail Messages In Google Docs

You can also save your Gmail messages in Google docs. It also allows users to edit Gmail messages on Google Docs like any other document. After editing Gmail message in Google Docs, you can easily export it as word document or PDF format.


To save Gmail message in Google Docs, follow these steps:

  • Go to Labs page.
  • Now enable "Create a Document" gadget.
  • Save changes and return back o inbox.
  • Now open any email which you want to save in Google Docs.
  • Click on the "More" drop down in the toolbar and click on "Create a Document."
  • This will export the current message as a new document in Google Docs.



This will preserve rich text formating of the email but ignore any file attachment.
